Looking around online forums, I found quite a number of discussions about Pinecone Research. A lot of curious people wondering whether the company was legit, how much they pay, when they pay, among other things.

So I took it upon myself to let my readers know more about this company. If you’re looking to make some side income – not much but income that can help you pay a couple of bills here and there, then you need to stick around.

Let’s talk about Pinecone Research!

Who Is Pinecone Research and Who Owns It?

Pinecone Research is a market research company owned by theNielsen company. Nielsen is one of the top market research firms in the world.

So before we can even go further, yes! Pinecone Research is a legit survey site that does pay its members to take surveys.

You probably know that there are several scam survey sites out there. All they are after is your email address in order to hack your accounts and do identify theft and other sort of vile acts!

Many people who are not savvy internet users fall for these scams, lose money or get hurt in some other way and swear not to pursue any other online money making endeavor.

That’s just unfortunate. The internet offers us many awesome opportunities to earn a legit income.

How Much Does Pinecone Research Pay?

But away from all that doom and gloom, Pinecone Research is a company that pays you $3 for every survey you complete.

And that’s why this company is very popular. They pay way better than most survey companies out there.

The way Pinecone Research works is that for every survey you complete, you get $3 worth of points. Also, you don’t have to accumulate a certain number of points if you want to cash out.

You can ask for your payments at any time.

However, Pinecone Research is only available in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada and Germany.

How Does Pinecone Research Pay?

Pinecone Research pays out via check or PayPal.

But there’s a caveat to this.

Once you have completed your first survey, Pinecone will send you the $3 via check to your address. It’s a form of security measure to ensure that the information you have given them is correct.

Once that is out of the way, you can now request your payments via PayPal if you so desire.

When you request for a cash-out, your payment will be processed in 3-5 business days. A check will take longer though.

You ought to know that there is yet ANOTHER way to redeem your points. Apart from PayPal and Check, you can redeem your points for physical or digital gift cards.

Pinecone Research Surveys

Pinecone Research surveys are easy to understand and don’t take very long to complete – on average, 15 to 20 minutes.

Survey notifications are sent to you via email so you don’t need to keep logging into the site to check whether there are any surveys available.

Pinecone Research also sends its members household questionnaires. These questionnaires or short surveys enable Pinecone to send its members product evaluations that are more unique to your household.

You will NOT be paid to complete the household questionnaires but you will be paid should you be chosen to take part in the product evaluations.

Also, the household questionnaires only take you about five minutes to do.

Quick Points to Note About Pinecone Research

  • Only ONE member per household is allowed to take part in Pinecone Research surveys. There may be opportunities for your household members to take part in the surveys every now and then, but generally, there should only be ONE spokesperson for the household.
  • You can’t just disappear for months and expect to find your Pinecone account intact. The firm regularly monitors member participation and members who are inactive are removed.
  • That may not sound like the best news but there’s good news as well. Should you not be available for, say, two weeks, you simply log into your account and update the dates you will be unavailable. Surveys will then be suspended for you during that time.
